Is the Animal Rights Industry Attacking the 1st Amendment or is it Jealousy Over Video Footage?

After receiving a lot of threats from the animal "rights" industry, the Guggenheim Museum in New York pull 3 art pieces that depict harm to animals. By having these pieces removed, they are doing no service to their cause. Let’s look beyond 1st amendment rights. If they are trying to (and succeeding) in having things like this censored, then it simply suppresses the fact that it’s happening. People needs to, and have a right to know about these situations that ARE in fact are horrible. What’s interesting is not necessarily that they successfully protested the use of these pieces being used in this exhibit. What I find interesting is the possible “why” behind it. One has to wonder of the possibly it’s because they are upset that they were not the ones that were able to create the narrative behind the videos. These videos would be prime for their fundraising campaigns and when it comes down to it, the animal “rights” industry is one motivated not by the welfare of animals, but instead by monetary gain.
